About

The Coastside Local Food Hub is a women-owned and BIPOC-owned community-driven initiative founded by Veronica, Cristóbal, & Cole to strengthen and revitalize San Mateo County's local agricultural economy and encourage the growth of new farm businesses in the community. Built to support small and mid-scale producers, the Food Hub provides shared infrastructure for aggregation, distribution, and processing—removing barriers that often limit market access for local farmers. Rooted in sustainability and equity, the Coastside Local Food Hub prioritizes farmer-first values, resilient regional supply chains, and a food system that benefits producers, institutions, and the broader community.
