The farm began in 1990 and has been rooted in the Capay Valley since 1996, growing vegetables, fruits, nuts, and raising pasture-raised animals. Riverdog uses organic production methods and a whole-farm approach that includes compost, crop rotation, cover cropping, hedgerows, and integrating animals into the farming system to support soil health and ecosystem balance.
